How to Journal Trades (Template Inside)

The exact fields we track, and how a weekly review turns data into improvement.

A journal is only useful if you review it. Here is the minimum viable structure.

Per trade

  • Setup name (from your playbook)
  • Planned risk and actual risk
  • Entry, stop, target and exit
  • Screenshot before and after
  • One sentence: what would I do differently?

Weekly

Group trades by setup. Which setups made money? Which broke your rules? Cut or fix the losers, and keep doing the winners.
